    1. See if the bookmark to cybermater.org has been saved on your computer and then try the bookmark. If not, bookmark cybermater.org and try the bookmark.

    2. Click on "Links and Selected Science Sites", then click on "Professor Joe's Place". Near the the top of the page click on "Want to See a Dilly Dingus?".

      1. Choose LINKS.
      2. What did you find?
      3. Further down the page you will see graphics. Notice the graphic that has the words "make a difference". This is an example of a jpeg, short for "Joint Photographic Experts Group".
      4. Notice the graphic that has the words "the rainforest site". These are gifs, short for "Graphic Information File".
      5. Find "Resources:Mythology" by using the FIND function of your browser and go to the Galileo link.
      6. What did you find?
      7. Using the BACK "button" return to the LINKS page. Check out the Almanac Tidbits link.
      8. Do you see the animated gif?

    3. Lets Use the History Button

      1. Find your way back to Professor Joe's.
      2. Then click on "Jim's and Priscilla's Home Page".
      3. Then click on Surf Central.
      4. What did you find?
      5. This is a good site to find information. Browse the site for a few minutes and if it seems useful bookmark the site.
      6. Using the History "button" return to "Jim's and Priscilla's Home Page".
      7. What did you find? Did you see the moving message? How about the clock at "the time is now"? The weather by zipcode?
      8. Enter your zipcode and find your weather.
      9. Using the History "button" return to "Jim's and Priscilla's Home Page".
      10. Click on "Botany and Herb Sites". Bookmark the site.
      11. Check out a link you would like to explore.
      12. Using the History "button" return to "Jim's and Priscilla's Home Page".
      13. Using the Bookmarks go back to the "Botany and Herb Sites". What happened?

    4. Lets Try a Search Engine

      1. Click on Search Page at Cybermater
      2. What did you find?
      3. Then enter "Johnson Wax Administration Building" in the Monster Crawler Box.
      4. Then click on the Search Button.
      5. Now find Johnson Wax Administration Building and go to the link.
      6. Then follow the links to see a view of the "SC Johnson Wax Administration Building in Racine".

    5. Try Yahoo at www.yahoo.com

      1. Enter "falling waters" in the search box and then click "search".
      2. Unfortunately, the search does not yield the famous house called "Fallingwater".
      3. Now try the BACK "button" to get to the search page we started from, and click on "advanced search" near the search "button"
      4. Enter "architecture falling waters" and now hit the search "button".
      5. Follow the trail to Wright's "Fallingwater"
      6. Get a picture (JPEG) of the building (right click on the photo) and store it on your hard drive. Then delete the JPEG.
