Prayer is the root and source and mother of ten thousand blessings. Saint John Chrysostom (347-407)

Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and enkindle in them the fire of Thy love.
V. Send forth Thy Spirit and they shall be created.
R. And Thou shalt renew the face of the earth.
Let us pray. O God, Who didst instruct the hearts of the faithful by the light of the Holy Spirit, grant us in the same Spirit to be truly wise, and ever to rejoice in His consolation.
Through Christ our Lord.

You may substitute the 10 Hail Marys in the decades with one of these short devotions:

1. For each Hail Mary just use the angelic salutation in honor of the Incarnation:
   “Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee.”

2. For each Hail Mary in each decade, use a short prayer of thanksgiving particular to that decade:
   1. for the first decade: “Thank you Jesus for the gift of your body and blood.”
      
   2. for the second decade: “Thank you Jesus for the gift of faith.”
      
   3. for the third decade: “Thank you Jesus for the gift of your patience and love.”
      
   4. for the fourth decade: “Thank you Jesus for gift of the Eucharist.”
      
   5. for the fifth decade: “Thank you Jesus for the gift of this world.”
      
   6. for the sixth decade: “Thank you Jesus for the gift of your guidance.”
      
   7. for the seventh decade: “Thank you Jesus for the gift of life.”
