Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful and enkindle in them the fire of Thy love.
V. Send forth Thy Spirit and they shall be created.
R. And Thou shalt renew the face of the earth.
Let us pray. O God, Who didst instruct the hearts of the faithful by the light of the Holy Spirit, grant us in the same Spirit to be truly wise, and ever to rejoice in His consolation.
Through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
Prayer from Brother Tobias Dammert OSB
DEAREST GOD,
As I stand at the threshold of a new day in my life’s journey
I come before You with gratitude and petition.
Mindful that You hear the prayers of Your people I dare to speak out:
THANK YOU
- for each moment of my life;
- for family and friends whom You have given me as companions;
- for crosses and challenges that make the journey interesting,
challenging, and yes rewarding;
- for the GIFT OF JESUS and HIS guidance;
- for FAITH, HOPE and LOVE, as stepping stones
that will lead me into Your ETERNAL JOY.
PLEASE, GOD
- grant me courage to deal with the uncertainty of the future
and all that is in store for me;
- shower Your graces and blessings upon me and all those whom I love,
and spare us from all sickness;
- let me accept from Your loving hands each new day as Your gift,
and may all my actions today and every day be to Your greater honor and glory.
Amen

Angelus at EWTN
V. The Angel of the Lord declared to Mary:
R. And she conceived of the Holy Spirit.
Hail Mary . . .
V. Behold the handmaid of the Lord:
R. Be it done unto me according to Thy word.
Hail Mary . . .
V. And the Word was made Flesh:
R. And dwelt among us.
Hail Mary . . .
V. Pray for us, O Holy Mother of God,
R. that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray:
Pour forth, we beseech Thee, O Lord, Thy grace into our hearts;
that we, to whom the incarnation of Christ, Thy Son, was made known by the message of an angel,
may by His Passion and Cross be brought to the glory of His Resurrection,
through the same Christ Our Lord.
Amen.
The Leonine Prayers
Three Hail Marys:
HAIL, Mary, full of grace! The Lord is with thee;
blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus!
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners
now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
HAIL, Holy Queen, mother of mercy; hail,
our life, our sweetness, and our hope!
To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve;
to thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears.
Turn then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us:
and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary!
V. Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
Let us pray.
O God, our refuge and our strength,
look down in mercy on Thy people who cry to Thee,
and by the intercession of the glorious and immaculate Virgin Mary,
Mother of God, of St. Joseph her Spouse,
of Thy blessed Apostles Peter and Paul, and of all the saints,
in mercy and goodness hear our prayers for the conversion of sinners,
and for the liberty and exultation of our holy Mother the Church.
Through the same Christ our Lord.
R. Amen.
SAINT Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle;
be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray: and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God,
cast into hell Satan and all the wicked spirits
who roam through the world seeking the ruin of souls.
R. Amen.
Conclusion, said three times:
V. Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.
R. Have mercy upon us.

Prayer of St. Pio of Pietrelcina After Holy Communion
Stay with me, Lord, for it is necessary to have You present so that I do not forget You.
You know how easily I abandon You.
Stay with me, Lord, because I am weak and I need Your strength, that I may not fall so often.
Stay with me, Lord, for You are my life, and without You, I am without fervor.
Stay with me, Lord, for You are my light, and without You, I am in darkness.
Stay with me, Lord, to show me Your will.
Stay with me, Lord, so that I hear Your voice and follow You.
Stay with me, Lord, for I desire to love You very much, and always be in Your company.
Stay with me, Lord, if You wish me to be faithful to You.
Stay with me, Lord, for as poor as my soul is,
I want it to be a place of consolation for You, a nest of love.
Stay with me, Jesus, for it is getting late and the day is coming to a close,
and life passes; death, judgment, eternity approaches.
It is necessary to renew my strength, so that I will not stop along the way and for that,
I need You. It is getting late and death approaches, I fear the darkness, the temptations,
the dryness, the cross, the sorrows. O how I need You, my Jesus, in this night of exile!
Stay with me tonight, Jesus, in life with all it's dangers. I need You.
Let me recognize You as Your disciples did at the breaking of the bread,
so that the Eucharistic Communion be the Light which disperses the darkness,
the force which sustains me, the unique joy of my heart.
Stay with me, Lord, because at the hour of my death, I want to remain united to You,
if not by communion, at least by grace and love.
Stay with me, Jesus, I do not ask for divine consolation,
because I do not merit it, but the gift of Your Presence, oh yes, I ask this of You!
Stay with me, Lord, for it is You alone I look for, Your Love, Your Grace,
Your Will, Your Heart, Your Spirit because I love You
and ask no other reward but to love You more and more.
With a firm love, I will love You with all my heart while on earth
and continue to love You perfectly during all eternity.
Amen
Thirty Days Prayer to St. Joseph
Ever blessed and glorious Joseph, kind and loving father, and helpful friend of all in sorrow!
You are the good father and protector of orphans, the defender of the defenseless,
the patron of those in need and sorrow.
Look kindly on my request. My sins have drawn down on me the just displeasure of my God,
and so I am surrounded with unhappiness. To you, loving guardian of the Family of Nazareth,
do I go for help and protection.
Listen, then, I beg you, with fatherly concern, to my earnest prayers, and obtain for me the favors I ask.
I ask it by the infinite mercy of the eternal Son of God,
which moved Him to take our nature and to be born into this world of sorrow.
I ask it by the weariness and suffering you endured when you found no shelter
at the inn of Bethlehem for the holy Virgin, nor a house where the Son of God could be born.
Then, being everywhere refused, you had to allow the Queen of Heaven to give birth to the world's Redeemer in a cave.
I ask it by that painful torture you felt at the prophecy of holy Simeon,
which declared the Child Jesus and His holy Mother future victims of
our sins and of their great love for us.
I ask it through your sorrow and pain of soul when the angel
declared to you that the life of the Child Jesus was sought by His enemies.
From their evil plan you had to flee with Him and His Blessed Mother to Egypt.
I ask it by all the suffering, weariness, and labors of that long and dangerous journey.
I ask it by all your care to protect the Sacred Child and His
Immaculate Mother during your second journey, when you were ordered
to return to your own country. I ask it by your peaceful life in
Nazareth where you met with so many joys and sorrows.
I ask it by your great distress when the adorable Child was lost to you
and His Mother for three days. I ask it by your joy at finding Him in
the Temple, and by the comfort you found at Nazareth, while living in
the company of the Child Jesus. I ask it by the wonderful submission
He showed in His obedience to you.
I ask it by the perfect love and conformity you showed in accepting
the Divine order to depart from this life, and from the company of
Jesus and Mary. I ask it by the joy which filled your soul, when
the Redeemer of the world, triumphant over death and hell, entered
into the possession of His kingdom and led you into it with special honors.
I ask it through Mary's glorious Assumption, and through that
endless happiness you have with her in the presence of God.
O good father! I beg you, by all your sufferings, sorrows, and joys,
to hear me and obtain for me what I ask.
(make your request)
Obtain for all those who have asked my prayers everything that is useful to them in the plan of God. Finally, my dear patron and father, be with me and all who are dear to me in our last moments, that we may eternally sing the praises of Jesus, Mary and Joseph.
“A blameless life, St. Joseph , may we lead, by your kind patronage from danger freed”
The Canticle of Brother Sun By: Saint Francis Of Assisi
Most high, all powerful, all good, Lord!
All praise is Yours, all glory, all honor And all blessing.
To You alone, Most High, do they belong.
No mortal lips are worthy to pronounce Your Name.
All praise be Yours, my Lord,
through all that You have made And first my lord Brother Sun, Who brings the day; and light You give to us through him. How beautiful is he, how radiant in all his splendor! Of You, Most High, he bears the likeness.
All praise be Yours, my Lord,
through Sister Moon and Stars; In the heavens You have made them, bright And precious and fair.
All praise be Yours, My Lord,
through Brothers Wind and Air, And fair and stormy, all the weather's moods, By which You cherish all that You have made.
All praise be Yours, My Lord,
through Sister Water, So useful, lowly, precious and pure.
All praise be Yours, My Lord,
through Brother Fire, Through whom You brighten up the night,
How beautiful is he, how merry! Full of power and strength.
All praise be Yours, My Lord,
through Sister Earth, our mother, Who feeds us in her sovereignty
and produces Various fruits with colored flowers and herbs.
All praise be Yours, My Lord,
through those who grant pardon, For love of You; through those
who endure Sickness and trial. Happy those who endure in Peace,
By You, Most High, they will be crowned.
All praise be Yours, My Lord,
through Sister Death, From whose embrace no mortal can escape.
Woe to those who die in mortal sin!
Happy those She finds doing Your Will!
The second death can do no harm to them,
Praise and bless my Lord, and give Him Thanks,
And serve Him with great humility.
Amen.
Medieval Maronite Prayer
By the intercession of Your mother, O Lord, turn your wrath from the land and its inhabitants.
Put an end to trouble and sedition, banish from it war, plunder, hunger and plague.
Have pity on us in our misfortunes. Console those of us who are sick. Help us in our weakness.
Deliver us from oppression and exile. Grant eternal rest to our dead.
Allow us to live in peace in this world, that we may glorify You.
